Barr’s Hill School is an academy part of The Futures Trust which is the admission authority. It participates in the local authority co-ordinated scheme for In-Year and Year 7 admissions

If there are more requests for a school place than there are places available within the school’s admission number, places will be allocated in accordance with the oversubscription criteria. Please refer to the relevant Admissions Policy for full details.

“Following the public consultation for the Admissions Policy 2020-2021, the governors agreed with the head teacher and the Local Authority to increase the Pupil Admission number due to the higher demand for school places.

Barr’s Hill School as part of The Futures Trust have agreed to offer an additional 30 places, as a permanent increase to their admission number with effect from September 2020 entry.”

Coventry City Council are the responsible authority for co-ordinating the arrangements for the admission of pupils to Secondary Schools in the Local Authority area. The authority has updated the Coordination scheme for 2020 a copy of which can be found at:-
