We are keen to reconnect with former students to find out what their school days meant to them, what they have achieved and where life has taken them.
We are inviting former students to get involved in various aspiration raising and careers events to enable current students to find out about their different and diverse professions. Our students love hearing from former students as their stories are both relatable and inspirational.

Train with us
We offer a range of subject placements through a variety of training partners, including President Kennedy FTA, Warwick University, Newman University, Coventry SCITT, Leicester University, Teach First, Wolverhampton University, and BCU.
For 2022-23, we are currently offering placements in the following areas:
Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology and Physics, Art and Design, Maths, English, History, Geography, RE, Sociology, phycology, MFL, Food Technology, Music, PE

School to School Support
At Barr’s Hill we recognise the importance of working with others. Staff habitually collaborate externally to improve their own expertise & develop exceptional pupil experiences. All staff contribute to a culture of collaboration, research, coaching, mentoring within the Futures Trust and beyond.
As a Futures Teaching Alliance partner we deliver high quality Continuing Professional and Leadership Development, School to School Support and Initial Teacher Training.
