Technician: Design and Technology
Grade 3 (£21,044 FTE – Pro Rata £18,200 per annum)
32 hours per week, term time only plus 1 weeks (39 weeks).

ICT Service Technician

We are seeking to appoint an ICT Service Technician to work with the ICT Service Team Leader and relevant colleagues to deliver a professional ICT service to customers predominantly at President Kennedy School and Primaries but also at other schools across the Trust to add value and facilitate the achievement of educational outcomes and offers high quality, professional project management to develop the service.
You will be committed to building brighter futures and educated to NVQ in ICT equivalent qualification or similar experience and evidence of ongoing professional development. You will also have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of supporting a wide customer base in an ICT support context.
The successful candidate will manage, maintain, support and develop the ICT infrastructure to ensure its effective and efficient operation in conjunction with external companies.
You will have strong problem solving and analytical skills, be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a range of audiences, be highly organised, able to prioritise and work well under pressure – meeting strict deadlines and exercising attention to detail.

We are seeking to appoint additional invigilators to join our examination team who are reliable, enthusiastic and flexible. This role is to oversee and supervise examinations as necessary throughout the school year. The successful candidates will also ensure that guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examination papers and procedures are followed during examination sessions.
Applicants will need to demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and have effective communication skills.

You will be committed to building brighter futures and able to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding both of working practices, equipment and materials in relation to cleaning, and of the importance of health and safety and hygiene in the school environment.
The current working pattern for the role is 3.00pm until 6.00pm Monday to Friday – this may be subject to change in accordance with the needs of the school.
