Year 8 Visit to Warwick University
A group of Year 8 students went on a visit yesterday to Warwick University, facilitated by IntoUniversity.
They began by meeting Student Ambassadors and were able to spend time asking them about their experiences of University, before going on a Campus Tour to see some of the facilities on offer at Warwick.
In the afternoon, the students took part in a workshop with staff and students from the English and Theatre Studies departments, where they devised their own endings to a drama and had the opportunity to act them out.
The students were brilliant and engaged enthusiastically with both staff and students on this visit; they were a credit to Barr’s Hill School and themselves. We hope that they were inspired to think more about University as an option for their futures and would like to thank IntoUniversity and the Warwick University staff and students for this amazing opportunity.
