The Bridge students visit Birmingham Symphony Hall

This week, The Bridge students had a wonderful opportunity to visit the Birmingham Symphony Hall. With the festive season truly underway, students visited from the cold wintry weather into the warmth of Christmas Music from Salisbury Cathedral Choir accompanied by Birmingham City Organist Thomas Trotter.

Year 7 Loughborough student, Firas Najjar tells us a little about the trip:

“We went on a coach to the venue and as we got off in Birmingham, we were given our tickets. The Symphony Hall was so big and so tall. There were some seats really high up but we were down at the level of the stage. I loved listening to the Salisbury Cathedral Choir singing Christmas songs and we clapped after each one. I have kept my ticket. My seat was F5.”
