PI DAY AT COVENTRY CATHEDRAL

PI DAY AT COVENTRY CATHEDRAL

Students had a wonderful opportunity to visit Coventry Cathedral this week for ‘Pi Day’.

Pupils took part in a variety of mathematical activities in the historic building. The day began with finding a wooden mouse and a stone squirrel in the old grounds then they had a tour of the new cathedral and looked at what Pi is and how it’s infinite.

They then created a skyline out of multi-link cubes and made Pi friendship bracelets.

Thank you to the Maths department for organising a great day out!
