Hosting the Coventry Schools Basketball League – U16 Boys Final
Last week, we had the honour of hosting the Coventry Schools Basketball League – U16 Boys Final in the Sports Hall.
We welcomed Foxford School and Sidney Stringer School, as they competed in the tournament. Sidney Stringer were victorious with a 55-21 victory. It was great to see how so many students have been able to enjoy the fantastic game of Basketball, some of our students attended the match to cheer on for the other schools.
Basketball has great health benefits as it involves using your entire body. It is a fast-paced game that involves a good deal of jumping and running which is a fantastic way to exercise.

It helps you develop self-discipline that is important as it encourages you to be more competitive and fair at the same time. It also keeps your mind focused and alert.
