YOUNG POETS HAVE WORK PUBLISHED IN NATIONWIDE BOOK
At Barr’s Hill we regularly enter our students into the national Young Writers Busta Rhyme competition, believing we have some of the most diverse and imaginative students in the country. Once more, our students have been rewarded for their outstanding creative writing by having their poetry published in this year’s Busta Rhyme anthology.
Students use a variety of poetic techniques to voice opinion, share memories/dilemmas or impart advice. Students are given the opportunity to use creative writing techniques throughout our curriculum, offering them the chance to showcase their writing talent, expressing themselves and inspiring others to do the same.
We are immensely proud of all the students who have been chosen for this prestigious collection of poems and their success is testament to the
outstanding teaching and learning that students receive at Barr’s Hill School.
