A successful careers fair
The Barr’s Hill School held its annual Careers Fair on Thursday 8th March 2018. A wide range of employers, education institutions and training providers were on hand throughout the afternoon to speak to the students about a range of careers and opportunities. All year groups were able to benefit since the Fair was open through the lunchtime period and after school, and Years 10 and 11 had scheduled timeslots to ensure they were able to attend. It is hoped that events like this will help our students to realise the wide range of opportunities available to them and also to increase their awareness of the companies and businesses operating in our local area here in Coventry. The event was a great success, with the employers in attendance commenting on the brilliant levels of engagement from our students and the quality of the enquiries they received.
