Outstanding Artwork inspired by Banksy and Yoko Ono
Students in Art have been experimenting with the Human form as their subject matter and looked at how the artist, Banksy creates a story in his art work.
Following a teacher led masterclass, students learnt about using paintbrush techniques to apply their acrylics, then stencils to add a figure and more detail. Each student was able to create their own masterpiece!
Year 10 GCSE Art created a Wish Tree inspired by Yoko Ono, where students and teachers can write their wishes and place them on the branches of the tree. The tree is based as you come into the school, so please take a look and read some of the fantastic wishes placed by our students.
Well done to all students on creating a touching piece of art work!
