Mosaic Enterprise Challenge Day
Twenty Year 9 students, split into four teams, were selected to take part in the Mosaic Enterprise Challenge Day. They were assisted by three staff members from Jaguar Landrover and Dave Hughes from Business in the Community.
The Mosaic Enterprise Challenge is designed to help students work, in teams, alongside business professionals to develop their transferable skills and their understanding of business concepts. It involves taking part in an online business simulation game and allows them to use their skills and imagination to produce, market and sell a product. A video explaining the opportunity can be seen on www.youtube.com/TheMosaicNetwork.
From the West Midlands schools taking part, successful business teams are invited to take part in the Regional Finals, then the winners of these events are invited to the National Grand Finals in London.
The Jaguar Landrover employees were really engaging and helpful and the students gained a lot from the day.
