Children in Need 2014
Monday, 17 November 2014 16:00

cin2014_0What another action packed day to remember!

We had fancy dress with many staff and students dressing in this year's theme of Superheroes.

Students could queue jump at lunch time by paying £1 and not only jumping the queue but also being waited on by our very own teaching and support staff.

Mrs Stafford created a coin tower with students and staff donating their small change throughout the week.

2014-15 Homework Schedule UPDATED
Monday, 17 November 2014 13:30

Dear Parents,

All students have a homework timetable. Parents can also see the timetables by clicking on the relevant 'Year' link in the table below. Alternatively, if you require a copy of a homework timetable for a particular Year Group, feel free to contact the School and we will post/email ont to you.

Please note that ALL students will have SOME homework EVERY night.

If your son/daughter insist that they have NO homework, please look at the BIG questions that can be found via this link where you will find homework questions by date, subject and Key Stage or Year Group. The question should be completed as homework and returned to the subject teacher for marking/assessment Sometimes, the BIG questions may be set as the actual homework.

End of transition 2014 Celebration
Monday, 06 October 2014 10:00

eot201410_0This was held last Friday at Radford Social Club. It was a fun evening which gave families a chance to chat about how the move to "big school" had gone for their children.

It was the 7th and final event in our "7 for year 7" and therefore we started at 7 and we had 7 activities on offer.

Give-Back Opportunities
Monday, 29 September 2014 10:30

gbo2014_0Calling all Sixth-Formers –
it's time to give something back!

The 6th form have recently been presented with a new initiative which sees them taking up voluntary placements in order to "give something back".

The scheme was launched in September and students have been given booklets which include numerous opportunities to choose from and some opportunities allow them to volunteer for projects in the community such as volunteering at Charnwood House or Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind.
