Barr’s Hill Students Celebrate Success
Barr’s Hill students celebrated some of the best ever GCSE examination results at the school. A 12% increase in the percentage of students gaining 5 or more A*-C grades including English and maths from the previous year and progress measures set to be well above the national average are just two highlights.
Headteacher Selwyn Calvin, praised the hard work and dedication of students and their staff. Star performers included the Patel triplets; Heenal, Hemal and Dimple with an astonishing 9A*, 11A and 5 B grades between them. Other top performers included; Daisy Bloxham with an A* and 4As, Tahir Majeed 4A*, 4A and Ahmed Mazoon with 4A* and 2A grades.
